Robin began her career as a working actress, graduating from “LaGuardia High School of The Performing Arts”. She has performed in numerous productions, including a principal role on CBS's soap opera, “The Guiding Light".
Robin was born and raised in the entertainment business. Her mother and father worked for “Motown Records” recording and producing artists such as Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Supremes, Diana Ross, The Temptations and Frank Sinatra.
After graduating from college, Robin worked as a personal manager, with family business "Lambert & Gentile Associates", who have guided the careers of many stars. She now shoots for some of New York City's top agencies such as "Don Buchwald and Associates", "Cunningham & Escott" and "Abrams Artists."
Having worked with so many of New York City's casting directors and agents, Robin has gained an exceptionally strong knowledge of how the casting side of the business works. She has an exceptional understanding of the business and knows exactly what agents and casting directors are looking for in a headshot.
Robin lectures throughout the country on “Getting Started in Show Business.” Some of the schools include: The Actor's Studio, NYU, Columbia, Rutgers, Vassar, Sarah Lawrence, Adelphi, Fordham, Pace, Syracuse University, The Performing Arts High School and The Lee Strasberg Institute.
This seminar covers everything from agents vs. managers, breakdowns, submissions, getting representation, percentage rates, headshots, resumes, callbacks, virtual auditions to agent interviews.
